Meet the Staff
Rita was born and raised on an apple and berry farm in Northern Wisconsin. Following her graduation from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Nutrition, Rita moved to Fort Collins in search of new opportunities and exciting adventures exploring the mountains. Fort Collins has provided her with many new experiences to continue her pursuit of becoming a Physical Therapist, this job being one! In her free time, she loves hiking and camping in new places, eating fun foods, and picking out plants she wants to one day grow in her garden.
Rita’s experiences working with mentoring programs and volunteering at rehabilitation clinics, has lead her to develop a passion for continuous learning and working with people in healthcare settings. Here at the SCC, she is fortunate to be able to develop connections with patients and aid in their healing process. Rita feels very lucky to be a part of a team that provides professional and innovative care for patients.
