Vibration Therapy - Spine Correction Center of the Rockies
Neuromuscular reeducation is a way to “retrain your brain” to use correct posture and correct bio-mechanics. You may be sitting, standing, walking, or even running in a way that puts uneven stress on your body, which over time, results in pain. Also, poor posture can cause soft tissue damage, another cause of pain. By correcting your posture and bio-mechanics, we greatly reduce the chance of pain returning in the future.

We use body weights and a vibration machine to work with your brain’s natural reflex to stand upright. In this way, your brain develops a better, or healthier, way, to control your postural muscles. In the short term, our weighting systems strengthen damaged posture muscles; in the long term, it results in a change for the better in your overall posture, reducing the risk of your pain returning.

neuro-muscular re-educationAnother thing we do to ensure success is provide you with home-care equipment so you can continue to work on normalizing your postural patterns. By performing these exercises at home for approximately 15-30 minutes each day, you will see a decrease in your pain, improved posture, and an overall a greater sense of well-being.

If other therapies have failed you, one reason may be that they did not address how the brain coordinates the posture muscles. Neuromuscular reeducation is on the cutting edge of neurology and musculoskeletal treatment programs, and we are honored to be one of only a handful of clinics in the nation working with them. Please come into our clinic to find out more about it.
