Warm up on Wobble Chair - Spine Correction Center of the Rockies

Spinal Rehabilitation combines the best of western medicine, physical therapy, and chiropractic, and incorporates rehabilitation equipment not found elsewhere in the state of Colorado. With it, we are able to treat serious spine-related problems such as scoliosis or disc lesions, or simply lower back pain. Our spinal rehabilitation program can eliminate the need for surgery and dangerous prescription drugs.

In this program, each patient receives an evaluation from our full-time medical staff and chiropractors. Following this evaluation, your team of doctors meets to discuss your condition and to develop a unique treatment plan designed just for you.

Most of the pain people struggle with comes from damage to the discs, muscles, nerves, tendons, and ligaments. For patients with disc damage, our spinal rehabilitation program includes a disc decompression or “disc-ease” procedure where we rehydrate and pump nutrients in and out of the damaged disc tissue. For those with torn or damaged ligaments, we use our vibrational traction machine to cycle nutrition in and out of this damaged white tissue, helping it regain some of its lost strength.

Our medical staff is able to administer trigger point injections to reduce pain quickly. (A trigger point is a knot or tight, ropy band of muscle that forms when a muscle fails to relax.) Trigger points can cause referred pain — pain you feel in another part of the body. Over time, if left untreated, scar tissue, loss of range of motion, and weakness may develop.

As your pain levels decrease, you will be able to do more rehabilitative exercises and we can incorporate more physical therapy to strengthen damaged soft tissues. As you continue to improve, we fit you with active body orthotics to help further restore your spine to its normal position (with a curvature in the neck, the midback, and the low back). These orthotics work with your brain’s natural reflexes to return your spine to a more natural position. Over time, your brain is “retrained” to hold your spine in this healthier position.

If your doctor has recommended surgery and prescription drugs, please allow us to help you avoid irreversible or drastic measures with our Spinal Rehabilitation program. We believe by addressing the whole body we can greatly improve your wellbeing.
