Dr. Michael Farrell is privileged to call Fort Collins his home and currently brings his specialties of disc decompression, scoliosis reduction, and Pettibon technique to the Spine Correction Center of the Rockies team. Dr. Farrell has finished advanced training in scoliosis treatment through the CLEAR institute and is proud to be representing an elite group of doctors who are capable of reducing scoliotic curvatures.
Dr. Farrell is on the cutting edge of treatment options that are staking new claims in effective scoliosis reduction. Dr. Farrell works with a diverse patient base and works with patients from around the globe who travel to Fort Collins for intense 2-4 week treatment programs.
Background and Interests
Dr. Michael Farrell is a true Colorado native, born in the small mountain town of Granby, Colorado where he honed and developed his love for people. Having been around natural health care and small business from age six, he decided to pursue a Chiropractic degree to fulfill his purpose in life of helping as many people as possible achieve optimal health through natural means.
Dr. Farrell is an avid outdoorsman and spends his free time biking, snowmobiling, skiing, and backpacking. Dr. Farrell also enjoys traveling and serving the population abroad with his natural health care skills and has been able to work with people in India. Other trips that Dr. Farrell has been able to take include traveling to Mexico, Ecuador, Costa Rica, and South Africa. His family includes his beautiful wife, Tarryn Farrell, daughters Akeeva and Zaylah.
Education
Dr. Farrell earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at the Palmer College of Chiropractic. During his time at Palmer, the fountainhead of Chiropractic, Dr. Farrell was nominated for the prestigious Chiropractic Philosophy Award. He also furthered his education through extensive training in rehabilitation programs including the Pettibon technique.
During Dr. Farrell’s last trimester of school, he completed an internship at Evocare Center for Physical Health in Lakewood, Colorado. Evocare is a developing disc decompression clinic which specializes in sports medicine. During this phase of education, Dr. Farrell studied under Dr. Ron Spallone, a recipient of the Sports Chiropractor of the Year award. Dr. Farrell received a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with minors in Science, and Management and emphasis in Leadership Studies, Outdoor Leadership, and Biblical Studies from Colorado Christian University. During his time at undergraduate university, Dr. Farrell was elected to the Leadership Program as well as the Judicial Board.
