Derrick is a self-proclaimed military brat, an Air Force combat veteran and Doctor of Physical Therapy. He considers Colorado Springs home and moved to Northern Colorado in 2017 after graduating with his DPT from Regis University.
Derrick has experience treating a multitude of disorders from musculoskeletal impairments and injuries to chronic pain, neurologic and vestibular/balance disorders. He utilizes manual therapy interventions such as joint mobilization and manipulation, functional dry needling, myofascial decompression and neuromuscular facilitation to help patients achieve their goals. He is also passionate about corrective exercise and the ability of the body to adapt and heal when given the right tools.
Derrick spends most of his free time with his significant other and their rescue dogs Jax and Scout; you can usually find them roaming around the local trails and breweries. He also enjoys fly fishing, snowboarding, disc golf and Colorado sunshine. He is a die-hard Tennessee Titans fan and hopes to watch them win the Super Bowl some day- it’s okay to dream big!
