Spinal Decompression Angled

Spinal decompression is effective because it creates a biofeedback loop between the patient and the computer.

While traction devices have been around for centuries, disc decompression tables read the amount of stress that is being placed upon them by the patient.  This biofeedback mechanism, allows the table to make subtle changes during the course of a treatment that allow patients to overcome muscle spasms and obtain relief from their conditions.

Under an old traction treatment session that lacks biofeedback–such as an inversion table–the patient is unable to overcome the muscle guarding reflex of their spine.  That often causes their muscles to go into spasm after treatment, and disables the impact of the traction on their deeper soft tissues.

The biofeedback loop with spinal decompression overcomes this reflex and effectively impacts the deep soft tissues of the spine.

Spinal decompression is very effective in the treatment of disc disorders including:

Sciatica can also be impacted by spinal decompression. Spinal decompression can also be very effective in the treatment of chronic headaches and carpal tunnel  syndrome.

Spine Correction Center of the Rockies uses spinal decompression as one aspect of a complete treatment strategy that also includes botanical injections, physical therapy, spinal manipulation, and active body orthotic treatment.  The combination of these treatment strategies allows us to treat stubborn conditions and give relief where so many other Chiropractors have failed before.
