Simple squats off of the bed, or a chair that is approximatly 90 degrees.
The glutes are primary stabilizers for the low back as well as having a major role in walking. In order for them to work effectively, they need to be strong.
- Off of a bed, or a chair, where your knees are 90 degrees or more, cross your arms and press down through your heels, as you squeeze your glutes, or buttocks region.
- The key is to not lean forward, and make sure you are squeezing your tushy.
You can start with 5-10 reps 1-2X per day.
Who knows with the new year, it may have some firming effects as well.
